An attractive aspiring filmmaker Jeanie compensates for her non-existent love life by constantly working on her documentary. Calling it a slice of life film Jeanie gets most of her footage by shooting through the open windows of the people who live in the loft across from her. After she inadvertently films her neighbour Alice having sex with the married and morally conservative Senator Adams she finds herself caught up in a web of scandal and danger. Resourceful as well as beautiful Jeanie manages to turn the tables in her favor gain some much-needed life experience and perhaps find love with her new neighbour Alice.
