Babar: King Of The Elephants is a story of a little elephant named Babar who grows up to become King of the Elephants. After his mother is killed by a hunter Babar moves to the big city and learns all about the ways of the humans. Returning to the jungle he uses his knowledge to end the war with the rhinoceros and to build a beautiful city for his fellow elephants. Through his strengh and ability to overcome hardship Babar learns the greatest lesson of all - even in a life of misfortune great things are possible if one never gets discouraged.
